 梁大成始創於一八六三年，由小岡制香世家梁氏家族創建。民國三十年，第四代傳承人梁國楨先生為逃避戰亂，將企業由廣州遷至香港、澳門等地，八十年代初，為回應國內改革開放政策，第五代傳承人梁德成先生將企業回遷至公司發源地--新會小岡（梁國楨先生故鄉）。
工廠占地四十餘畝，員工超過兩百人，秉承傳統制香技藝，配合現代化科學管理，擁有半自動一體化生產設備、多項發明實用專利、外觀專利；產品通過臺灣SGS檢測和清華大學天然藥物研究中心的檢驗，並多次榮獲中國品質信用企業等榮譽稱號。
產品一直遵循其創始人的傳統制香技藝，採用原材來自印度貢香、澳洲檀香、越南沉香、天然柏香、各地名貴藥材及法國水果花香等，所生產的各種香品，以氣味天然純正、清新怡人著稱，馳名中外，暢銷全球。
二零一九年公司進行股份制改造，後由廣東福德實業全資控股，股份制後，公司加大對廠房擴建、設備升級和技術研發等投資，自此大成制香完成由家族企業向現代化制香企業的蛻變。
